SSC CGL 2025
SSC CGL 2025 postponed to September after review; re-exam for 55,000 candidates.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced that the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2025, originally scheduled to start on August 13, will now be held in the first week of September. The postponement comes after a comprehensive review of the examination platform and operational systems to ensure smooth conduct of the tests.

In addition to the rescheduling, around 55,000 candidates identified with data discrepancies in the Selection Posts and Phase XIII Computer-Based Examinations (CBE) held between July 24 and August 1 will be offered another opportunity to take their test on August 29.

According to SSC, the decision aims to maintain fairness, transparency, and efficiency in the examination process. The commission emphasized that this delay will help address technical concerns and improve the overall candidate experience during the exams.

With the CGL being one of the most sought-after competitive exams in India, the SSC’s move ensures that candidates can appear for the test without facing avoidable technical disruptions. Updated exam dates and instructions will be issued on the official SSC website.
