About the IIM Mumbai MBA-BPGP Programme
The MBA-BPGP at IIM Mumbai is designed to integrate academic excellence with industry relevance. The programme offers a balanced blend of live online classes and on-campus immersion sessions, ensuring flexibility for professionals.
According to IIM Mumbai,
“The two-year Blended MBA programme combines management insights with technical expertise to build future-ready leaders. It covers critical management areas such as operations, supply chain, marketing, finance, data science, environment, and human resources while allowing specialization in the second year.”
Curriculum and Learning Experience
The MBA-BPGP offers over 1,200 hours of interactive learning with real-time access to IIM faculty and peer networking opportunities. The curriculum is structured to develop strategic, analytical, and leadership capabilities through:
Case studies, seminars, and simulations
Capstone projects and role plays
Live discussions and group exercises
Students will gain practical knowledge in key areas like operations, finance, marketing, human resources, and business strategy. The program also focuses on data-driven decision-making, project management, and innovation through sustainable business practices.

Programme Structure
The MBA-BPGP comprises eight modules, with four modules each year.During the first year, participants will study Operations Management, Marketing Management, and other foundational subjects. The second year allows them to specialize in chosen domains aligned with their career goals.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the IIM Mumbai MBA-BPGP 2025–27 batch must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PwD categories) from a recognized university or institution under the UGC Act, 1956.
Work Experience:
A minimum of three years of professional experience in a business organization as of December 31, 2025.
Entrance Exam:
Applicants must have appeared for CAT, GMAT, or GRE (taken after June 2020) or appear for IMAT (IIM Mumbai Admission Test) — an in-house test based on the CAT pattern.
Programme Fee and Financial Assistance
The programme fee is ₹15 lakh. IIM Mumbai has partnered with leading banks to provide educational loan assistance for eligible candidates.
