New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2025. Candidates can now register for the exam until October 27, 2025. The previous deadline was October 24, 2025.

Candidates must complete the online registration and submit the application fee to confirm their application.
Fee Payment Window: Open until October 28, 2025
Application Correction Facility: Available from October 27 to October 30, 2025
This extension provides candidates additional time to complete the registration and correct any errors in their applications.
CSIR UGC NET Exam Schedule
The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2025. The exam duration is 180 minutes, with two shifts:
First Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Candidates will receive their city intimation slip and admit card a few days prior to the exam.
